Dr Hannah Reeve is a social-economic historian, and is the brains behind Reeve Research.

Her love for genealogy began when she was a teenager, and has not stopped growing. In fact, she has a PhD in early modern-parish life, and likes nothing more than wading through parish records and transcribing tricky documents.

Her guilty-pleasure is reading old court records to uncover the weird and wonderful that characterised living in the past—so much so she has written about it as a guest blogger here.

When she doesn’t have her head in the court records, she is busy picking up the paper-trail of dissenting ancestors, with a particular specialism in Quaker roots.

Hannah also loves retracing the steps of ancestors—both metaphorically and literally—and she can be found writing about her experiences doing just that.
